Seven boats sank and several more were severely damaged Friday, when a fire swept through J Dock in Shelter Bay Marina. The blaze started around 4:20 p.m. Residents of Shelter Bay heard a house-shaking boom, and those with a view of the marina saw the first boat engulfed in flame.
