Ida Lois Denton Wold died April 17, 2015 peacefully at home with family by her side. Lois was the fifth child born to Francis Oscar and Mamie A. Valentine Denton on February 18, 1925. Her early years were spent on Pleasant Ridge on the land her grandfather, S. T. Valentine, homesteaded in the late 1880s. She lived her whole life in Skagit County. Lois graduated from La Conner High School and worked for the Puget Sound Seed Company in La Conner until her marriage to Alvin L. Wold in 1950.
