Shelter Bay resident Karl C. Hammer died at age 77 on Thursday, August 27 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle with his family at his side. Karl was born to Carl Einer and Enora Ash Hammer on June 27, 1938 and grew up in Southern California. In 1958 he married Rosemary Holmes.
