3:30 p.m.: Suspicious – A resident ofCaledonia Street in La Conner received a phone call that sounded suspicious.
Tuesday Feb. 11
7:50 p.m.: Lost phone – Someone left their cell phone on a coffee table at the La Conner Country Inn and when they came back for it, the phone was gone and nobody had turned it in.
9:32 p.m.: Alarm – An alarm went off at the La Conner School District. Nothing was amiss and it is thought the wind set it off.
Wednesday Feb 12
9:39 a.m.: Worried friend – Deputies tracked down a person at La Conner Marina who forgot they had an appointment to meet up with a friend.
12:27 p.m.: Lockout – Deputies helped a person get into their RV trailer at Potlatch Resort in La Conner.
3:16 p.m.: Angry buyer – A person inConway received a threatening phone call from a person who bought a vehicle from them that later broke down.
5:07 p.m.: AWOL pooch – A four-legged fugitive described as small with black fur went missing from a home onMaple Avenue in La Conner. A deputy had seen the suspect running from the area a short time before the call. The dog returned home when called.
Thursday Feb 13
9:01 a.m.: Oops, never mind – A La Conner resident received a letter from the Sheriff’s Office to confirm their property was still stolen. But the letter was not intended for the person it was delivered to. Another letter will be sent out.
Friday Feb 14
7:52 p.m.: AWOL pooch – This time a quadruped who lives onChannel Drive north of La Conner went on a walkabout without telling anyone. The human of the house called back and said the dog returned.
Saturday Feb 15
12:31 a.m.: Midnight moron – Someone who had been eighty-sixed and told to stay away from a tavern onSouth First Street in La Conner weeks ago was on the street revving the engine of their vehicle.
5:47 p.m.: Court order – Someone onSouth Park Street in La Conner called to report a violation of a court order, but there was no violation because the order had not been served.
