Monday March 10

12:19 p.m.: Suspicious – Someone reported what they suspected to be a person waiting to conduct a drug transaction, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.

2 p.m.: Theft – A small home-made boat trailer was taken from a shed onChannel Drive north of La Conner.

Tuesday March 11

3:02 p.m.: Lost – Someone lost a wedding ring during a sports tournament at La Conner Middle School over the weekend.

6:35 p.m.: Lost & Located – A fellow reported to La Conner deputies that he’d lost his backpack a couple of weeks back. It turned out the Swinomish Police took custody of it after it had been left at theSwinomish Tribal Court.

7:55 p.m.: Worried relative – A family member asked deputies to check on a La Conner resident who was not answering the phone. The resident called their relatives back while the deputy was in route.

9:06 p.m.: Don’t jump – Someone called and reported that a person atDeceptionPassBridge was considering jumping off. But nobody jumped. The person left in a vehicle while deputies were in route.

Thursday March 13

10:35 a.m.: Catch & Release – A deputy saw a man onMaple Avenue in La Conner who was known to have an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a citation the deputy issued previously. The guy was booked and released with a new court date.

10:53 p.m.: Nobody there – There was a report that someone was passed out near the intersection ofCaledonia Street andMaple Avenue in La Conner. Neither deputies nor paramedics could find anyone around.

Friday March 14

12:42 p.m.: Vehicle prowl – A window was broken on a vehicle at the park and ride on March’s Point in Anacortes, but nothing was taken and there was no evidence anyone had been inside the vehicle.

5:46 p.m.: Arrest – Someone violated a no contact order by showing up at a home onWhatcom Street in La Conner they were supposed to stay away from. They went to jail.

2:58 p.m.: Pit Stop – People were reported to be hitch hiking in front of the public restrooms on Morris Street in La Conner. They were gone when deputies arrived.
