Monday March 17

12:01 p.m.: Info, please – A La Conner resident had a question about civil processes.

12:05 p.m.: Big ticket – A motorist in a vehicle with expired registration tabs was stopped and found to be also driving on a suspended license.

12:10 p.m.: Be gone! – Someone at the Rexville Grocery onBest Road was raising a ruckus and deputies sent him on his way with a trespassing warning.

4:10 p.m.: Napper – A man was passed out in the parking lot at Pioneer Market. He was given a trespassing warning and a ride home.

Tuesday March 18

9:54 a.m.: Theft – Someone broke into the school buses at La Conner School District and stole eight cameras from the buses. The crime had apparently occurred over the weekend.

2:43 p.m.: Theft – A small electric pressure washer was stolen from a business onMorris Street in La Conner.

Thursday March 20

6:26 a.m.: Fire bug – The fellow who was thrown out of Rexville Gocery onBest Road on Monday allegedly came back and set the back building on fire. He was arrested later in Anacortes and was registered as a guest at Skagit County Jail facing charges of burglary and arson.

8:52 a.m.: Dancing customer – Someone who had been a regular customer at Vintage La Conner thrift store had been acting strangely and dancing on the counters at the last visit. The caller wanted to know if it should be reported. They were told it should be reported and they were given the opportunity to have the dancer put on notice for trespassing. The caller didn’t want to do that, however.

Saturday March 22

10:24 a.m.: Trespassing – Someone was seen going into a building onMain Street inConway that was supposed to be closed. Deputies arrived and found it was a contractor working on the place.

Sunday March 23

2:05 p.m.: Argument – A father and son had a disagreement onCaledonia Street in La Conner. Nothing criminal occurred.

Monday March 24

7:18 a.m.: Theft – Someone took off with extension cords that had been left outside a construction site atConwayElementary School.
