6:16 p.m .: Just checking – Deputies and emergency medical personnel showed up to check on an intoxicated man who was resting on the sidewalk at a bus stop onCaledonia Street in La Conner.
Wednesday April 30
2 a.m .: Noise – Someone was having a loud party, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner. Deputies showed up to ask them to keep it down, but the celebrants had already left.
4:16 a.m .: Alarm – An alarm went off at Pioneer Market in La Conner. Everything was fine.
12:45 p.m .: Stolen trailer – Somebody “borrowed” a trailer from an address onMaple Ave. in La Conner and never returned it.
1:14 p.m .: Bad dog – A report of a dog onFir Island Road inConway being aggressive toward bicyclists. Deputies couldn’t locate the dog or the house that was described.
5:33 p.m .: Bad driver – A van was struck by another vehicle near Pioneer Market in La Conner. The person who caused the damage did not leave their contact information, as required by law, and there were no witnesses.
Thursday May 1
4:03 p.m .: Found phone – Somebody found a cell phone in the public restroom onMorris Street in La Conner. The deputy was able to locate the owner and return it.
Friday May 2
3:27 p.m .: Burglary – A vacant residence on Road Street in La Conner is believed to have been entered. Nothing was discovered missing.
8:20 p.m .: Assault – While waiting in the bar to be seated in the restaurant at Nell Thorn in La Conner, the reporting party commented to another guest that they were using a girlie glass. After the reporting party was seated at a table, the girlie glass user threw their drink on them. Nobody knew the name of the girlie glass user.
Saturday May 3
4:40 a.m .: Alarm – The alarm went off at Pioneer Market in La Conner. No problems.
1:53 p.m .: Alarm – An alarm went off at La Conner High School. There was a teacher on site and no problems.
11:27 p.m .: Booze patrol – State Liquor Control officials investigated an over-service of alcohol issue at a tavern onFirst Street in La Conner.
Sunday May 4
6:12 p.m .: Big ticket – A driver traveling 63 in a 50-mile-per-hour-zone was stopped. It was discovered they were also driving with a suspended driver’s license.
Monday May 5
9:13 a.m .: Burglary – Tools were stolen from a construction trailer onRexville Grange Road near Rexville.
