11:44 a.m.: Theft – It was reported that a kicker motor was taken off a boat at business near La Conner Marina sometime during the past year.
2:02 p.m.: Dog accused – Some called dispatch and said that Rottweilers were running loose onWashington Ave. in La Conner. They told the deputy who arrived that there were pit bulls. The deputy checked and found that the retriever who lives in the neighborhood was home and tethered, as usual.
Tuesday May 13
Noon: Unattended death – At the request of family members deputies checked on a man staying at a La Conner area RV park and found that he was deceased.
Wednesday May 14
7:20 p.m.: Blocking mail – A neighbor was parking in front of another resident’s mailbox onCaledonia Street in La Conner. Deputies contacted the vehicle owner at work and the issue was resolved.
Friday May 16
4:45 a.m.: Bad night – A man whose vehicle broke down in the parking lot of the 76 station inConway was contacted by deputies. Though the fellow appeared to be under the influence of something, it didn’t really matter because his vehicle was not drivable.
Saturday May 17
2:19 a.m.: Noise complaint – It was all quiet when deputies arrived, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.
3:23 a.m.: Noisy argument – A father and adult daughter were in a verbal disagreement, same place as noise complaint above. The dad left and told deputies he was going to stay somewhere else.
1:10 p.m.: Lost wallet – Someone lost her wallet in the public restroom at the La Conner Marina.
Sunday May 18
12:53 a.m.: Arrest – A fellow was arrested for assaulting his cousin, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.
