Monday June 16

11:45 a.m .: 911 hang up – But everything was OK at La Conner School District.

Tuesday June 17

8:09 a.m .: Catch & release – A person onCaledonia Street was arrested on a warrant for theft and booked into the over crowded Skagit County Jail and released.

Thursday June 19

10:19 a.m .: Harassment – Someone was posting fliers criticizing local residents who own a business onFirst Street in La Conner. The fliers made allegations about the residents, gave their home location and phone number and encouraged readers to go to their house to check on their dogs. The flier author had been previously contacted about trespassing at the residence and was encouraged to stop distributing the fliers.

Friday June 20

8:54 a.m .: Found phone – A cell phone belonging to a frequent guest of La Conner was turned into Town Hall. Deputies reunited it with its owner.

5:48 p.m .: Alarm – All was well at La Conner High School.

10:12 p.m .: Suspicious – A resident onMoore Road inConway thought someone had been on his property nosing around his vehicles. Deputies located someone who was visiting friends in the area, but denied being on the property.

Saturday June 21

1:54 a.m .: Hmm... – A woman returned to herConway home and found her vehicle missing. It was found the next day on a side road not far from the house.

12:29 p.m .: Search & Rescue – A kayaker was reported missing from a kayaking group, but was located when the deputies contacted the reporting party.

4:07 p.m .: Dog in truck – Someone was concerned about a dog in the back of a truck. When deputies got there, the dog was walking its human, who said the animal had been walked and given water before being left.

9:18 p.m .: Noise question – Someone called with questions about the La Conner town noise ordinance, which kicks in at 10 p.m.

10 p.m .: Noise complaint – Someone called in a noise complaint about theMuseum ofNorthwest Art fundraiser in La Conner, but the event had ended by the time deputies arrived.

Sunday June 22

4:31 p.m .: Shhh!! – A noise complaint because there was live music in the middle of the afternoon at a popular gathering spot onMorris Street. Deputies had them close the doors and windows and turn down the volume.
