10:29 a.m.: Missing – Somebody lost their coin purse in the area of La Conner Brewery.

6:15 p.m.: Rescue – Kayakers in distress were rescued nearDeceptionPassBridge.

Tuesday August 5

2:33 p.m.: Woof – Dogs were barking in a car parked onNorth Second Street in La Conner. The owner took them.

4:44 p.m.: Oops forgot – Somebody parked their car in La Conner but couldn’t remember where. They found it.

6:34 p.m.: Party’s over – An intoxicated person was transported home from the area of the Public Restrooms onMorris Street in La Conner.

Wednesday August 6

7:53 p.m.: Rescue – Someone fell nearDeceptionPassBridge and was rescued by State Parks Rangers.

Saturday August 9

9:32 a.m.: Tractor theft – A farm vehicle was stolen and a barn burglarized onFlats Road near La Conner.

1:38 p.m.: Hot dogs – Report of dogs left in a vehicle onFirst Street in La Conner. The owner returned.

9:56 p.m.: Dude! – Two men were chased out of the women’s restroom at La Conner Marina. Deputies couldn’t find the guys.

Sunday August 10

1:01 p.m.: Breakdown – Motorist had vehicle trouble near theNorth forkBridge onFirIsland. A tow was summoned.

1:01 p.m.: Fender Bender – At the same time, while entering the parking lot at La Conner Post Office, one car clipped another that was parked on the street.

1:07 p.m.: Theft – Meanwhile, just down the street at Anelia’s Kitchen restaurant in La Conner, some guy stole a guitar. He was located and issued a citation.

3:28 p.m.: Same guy – Oh, and by the way, the guitar guy had an outstanding arrest warrant out ofMount Vernon for theft and was arrested at Seafood and Prime Rib in La Conner. Jail is full, so he was cited and released.
