2:26 p.m.: Catch & Release – Deputies recognized a man onMorris Street in La Conner who had arrest warrant for negligent driving and violation of a court order. He was booked and released because the jail was too full to keep him.
Wednesday Sept 3
8:54 a.m.: Big ticket – In a routine traffic stop onMaple Avenue in La Conner, deputies discovered a driver who had a suspended license and no insurance.
11:06 p.m.: Homeless – A woman parked near the Conway Pub had been staying in her car. She didn’t want to discuss options to homelessness with deputies who were concerned about her.
Thursday Sept 4
7:37 a.m.: Unattended death – A person died at a home onDodge Valley Road east of La Conner. No indication of foul play.
Friday Sept 5
3:32 a.m.: Theft – Someone at an address onMaple Avenue nearMorris Street in La Conner reported that her boyfriend took her purse.
8:48 p.m.: Please check – A parent called in because their child told them that another child was left unsupervised in the La Conner Schools area after peewee football practice and during the high school football game. Deputies were unable to locate the child, and waited after the game but received no reports of a missing child.
Saturday Sept 6
5:19 p.m.: Bad driving – Someone reported that another driver was swerving across lanes and possibly driving drunk in the area of Morris Street and Maple Avenue in La Conner. The reporting party did not give a license plate number and it was unknown where the vehicle might have been heading.
