9 a.m .: Domestic – A married couple pushed each other during an argument at a residence north of La Conner.
Monday Sept 8
4:02 a.m .: 911 Hang up – The phone system malfunctioned at a business onMorris Street in La Conner.
Tuesday Sept 9
9:06 a.m .: Lost Wallet – Someone reported they lost their wallet at Pioneer Market in La Conner.
7:09 p.m .: Rude! – Three people were reported being “obnoxious” near the south end ofMaple Avenue in La Conner. They obnoxious parties were gone when the deputies arrived.
10:22 p.m .: Ride please – An intoxicated person onMaple Avenue in La Conner was given a ride home.
Wednesday Sept 10
9:23 a.m .: Phone home – A cell phone that was found atDeceptionPass was turned in at La Conner Town Hall. The owner’s family was contacted.
1:26 p.m .: No crime – It’s not a crime to accidently lose car keys as a La Conner fellow learned after lending his car to a friend, who lost the keys. The owner wanted the friend charged with a crime, but since the friend didn’t lose the keys on purpose, there was no crime and the most that could be brought is a civil action.
2:50 p.m .: Ride home – Deputies picked up an intoxicated person near the public restrooms onMorris Street in La Conner and gave them a ride home.
Thursday Sept 11
10:09 a.m .: Road kill – There was a dead deer in the road near Rexville Grocery.
11:47 p.m .: Banned beverage – A La Conner High student brought liquor to school.
7:29 p.m .: Noise – Complaint of loud music, 900 block Maple Ave., La Conner. They turned it down when the deputies showed up.
Friday Sept 12
12:54 p.m .: Road mess – A bag of garbage fell out of a truck onBest Road east of La Conner.
3:40 p.m .: Shoplifting – A customer walked out without paying for a Bio Oil skin treatment at La Conner Drug Store. Deputies are following up.
4:35 p.m .: Happy dog – A lost dog was found at La Conner High School and reunited with the owner.
5:29 p.m .: Lost wallet – Someone lost their wallet in the area ofMorris Street in La Conner.
Saturday Sept 13
8:13 a.m .: Fraud – Scam phone calls caused concern with a resident onChannel Drive near La Conner.
5:41 p.m .: Floating corpse – What looked to aChannel Drive resident like a human torso floating in the Swinomish Channel turned out to be a seal carcass when deputies arrived for a closer look.
