The La Conner Elementary School fourth-grade class of Peggy Swapp surprised volunteers from the La Conner Sunrise Food Bank on Monday when they came to fetch the bounty of the holiday food drive. There was way more food than there were crates to haul it, and lots of donated turkeys.
