10:15 a.m.: Fraud – A resident on La Conner’sCaledonia Street reported a case of fraud, the investigation is ongoing.
Monday Feb 16
4:01 p.m.: Catch & Release – A deputy recognized a person who had an outstanding arrest warrant on Road Street in La Conner. The jail was too full to take anyone, though.
5:17 p.m.: Skaters – Kids were allegedly skateboarding in the old Moore Clark warehouse on the waterfront in La Conner. When the deputy arrived, there were no skaters around but there was a ramp they’d made.
Tuesday Feb 17
8:32 a.m.: Oops! – Someone accidently dialed 911 at the La Conner School District office.
12:04 p.m.: Road Rage – A verbal altercation onFir Island Road nearConway turned out to be a road rage incident. When this happens, law enforcement advises people stay in their cars and call 911 right away because sometimes the other angry driver may be armed.
2:26 p.m.: Big Ticket – Deputies spotted someone known to have a suspended license driving near La Conner schools. He was cited.
Wednesday Feb. 18
7:38 p.m.: Info please – A La Conner resident had questions about eviction laws. They were told how to look up the information on the state’s Attorney General’s website.
Thursday Feb 19
5:57 p.m.: Found bike – A girl’s bicycle was found behind Doc Holliday’s gun shop onMorris Street in La Conner. If you’re missing one, call the La Conner Sheriff’s station.
Friday Feb 20
4:59 a.m.: Wake up – An alarm went off at Pioneer Market in La Conner. Everything was OK.
6:02 a.m.: Open door – A delivery man found an unsecured door at a business onMorris Street in La Conner. Nothing was amiss and he locked the door after he left. Deputies checked too, and everything was OK.
6:36 a.m.: Big ticket – A driver who was speeding onBest Road just outside La Conner was found to also have a suspended license. Costly.
12:46 p.m.: Disorderly – Some folks got into a dustup over property onDodge Valley Road east of La Conner. By the time deputies arrived, one of the parties had left.
Saturday Feb 21
5:19 a.m.: Rise & Shine – An alarm went off at Pioneer Market in La Conner. Everything was OK.
8:31 a.m.: Buzz off – An ex-boyfriend wouldn’t leave a residence, 900 block Maple Ave., until law enforcement was summoned. Deputies contacted him a short distance away and told him to stay away.
3:13 p.m.: Domestic – A caller fromSeattle reported a domestic violence incident that had happened the day before in La Conner. The investigation is ongoing.
4:12 p.m.: Theft – A theft was reported when room mates split at an address onSouth Fourth Street in La Conner. Ownership of the belongings has been substantiated and deputies are still investigating.
11:18 p.m.: Alarm – Another false alarm went off at Pioneer Market in La Conner.
Sunday Feb 22
2:31: Theft – Someone stole jewelry from the Courtyard Gallery in La Conner. Deputies have surveillance photos they’re going through to identify the suspect.
