Tuesday March 24
2:09 p.m.: Lost wallet – A woman called and wanted a deputy to check the counter at the Post Office in La Conner to see if she left her wallet there. Deputies did not locate the wallet.
Wednesday March 25
9:32 a.m.: Burglary – Two boats at the north end of La Conner Marina were broken into and things were stolen.
Thursday March 26
2:32 p.m.: Tulip traffic – The La Conner School District asked for help with heavy tourist traffic at Morris and 6th streets, an intersection crucial to school traffic.
9:41 p.m.: Lost Keys – Somebody dropped their keys somewhere while walking alongMorris Street in La Conner.
Friday March 27
11:38 a.m.: Hoarders – As part of his divorce proceedings, a man wanted deputies to confirm that the home his son was living in with his mother in the Pleasant Ridge area was unfit. The father said he heard it was the same as he last saw it and described the home’s condition as “hoarding.” The man’s address is still listed as the same address he described as unfit, and deputies suspect that it was likely in that condition when he lived there.
1:22 p.m.: Domestic – A daughter was reporting a domestic dispute that happened in the past between herself and her ex-boyfriend, who struck her mother’s vehicle onNorth First Street in La Conner. The mother didn’t want to pursue charges and it is unclear where the domestic dispute happened.
Saturday March 28
4:31 a.m.: Morning alarm – Oops! A delivery person accidently set off the alarm at La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib House.
1:47 p.m.: Found Keys – The keys were found onMorris Street and turned into the Chamber of Commerce and returned to the owner.
11:15 p.m. – Drunk driving – Someone reported seeing a green passenger car being driven erratically alongDodge Valley Road in the Pleasant Ridge area. Deputies couldn’t find it.
Sunday March 29
12:35 a.m.: Cut off time – Intoxicated people had their libations cut off at the Conway Pub and it started a disruption. Somebody shoved someone else and the guy who was shoved attempted to retaliate and accidently punched the friend of the guy who shoved him. The punched guy had a cut under his eye. Deputies are waiting for statements from the one who shoved, the one who got shoved and the guy with the shiner to determine who gets charged.
1:33 a.m.: Mad dad – A mother was told by her estranged husband that he was going to report her to child protective services for using a babysitter instead of himself.
2:26 p.m.: Drunk driving – This time it was a green GMC pickup swerving eastbound alongFir Island Road inConway. The information was passed on to Washington State Patrol.
4:20 p.m.: Lost credit card – A person thought they left their credit card behind at a restaurant in La Conner. They have already contacted the credit card company.
Monday March 30
9:50 a.m.: Oops! – Employees forgot to deactivate the alarm in the dining room at La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib and it went off.
