Monday April 20

10:26 a.m.: Abandoned vase – Somebody left a vase by a fire hydrant near First and Morris streets in La Conner. The person who picked it reported it in case someone is looking for it.

11:12 a.m.: Catch & release – A deputy picked up a fellow who wanted a ride onMorris Street in La Conner, It turned out the guy had outstanding arrest warrants. He was booked and released.

12:58 p.m.: Hot dog – A dog was kenneled inside a truck canopy with no ventilation. The vehicle was gone when deputies checked.

Wednesday April 22

1:50 p.m.: Brew crew – There was a report of non-residents in the Channel Cove area of La Conner who were exhibiting signs of intoxication.

3:30 p.m.: Drunk driver – A caller was concerned about someone they know who regularly drives intoxicated.

11:56 p.m.: Noise – A crew was hired for after hours cleaning in a business onMorris Street, but the midnight cleaning was conflicting with the neighborhood’s sleeping hours.

Thursday April 23

6:39 p.m.: Break down – A vehicle broke down near Chilberg and Best roads east of La Conner and the deputy checking found there was help already on the way.

Friday April 24

8:12 a.m.: Break in – Someone broke into a boat in dry storage at La Conner Marina and took things.

9:19 a.m.: Don’t hit me! – A caller was worried about being run over in a crosswalk at 6th and Morris streets in La Conner when a driver wouldn’t stop.

2:06 p.m.: What? – A homeowner on Caledonia Street in La Conner said the Sheriff’s Office called and said not to leave the house. The caller was assured that it was not the Sheriff’s Office, especially without some explanation.

2:57 p.m.: Big Oops! – A visitor at the Skagit County Historical Museum on S. 4th Street in La Conner accidently stepped on the accelerator instead of brake when trying to stop at a parking spot in front of the building. Instead, their car wound up in the building.

7:43 p.m.: Alarm – With the front door broken at SkagitCountyHistoricalMuseum in La Conner, there was an issue with the alarm going off.

Monday April 27

9:11 a.m.: Lost wallet – A La Conner resident left their wallet behind somewhere in town and hopes to be reunited with it.
