10:25 a.m.: Morning snort – Two people were cited for drinking alcohol in public on a bench nearGilkey Square in La Conner.
11:11 a.m.: Theft – Somebody stole one of the new bollards the town put in to protect pedestrians at the south end of the La Conner boardwalk.
11:27 a.m.: Threatening – Somebody with a mental health issue near Pioneer Market in La Conner sparked a call to law enforcement.
Tuesday June 2
6:26 a.m.: Roll-over – Somebody drove their vehicle too fast into a corner atFirIsland and Maupin roads nearConway and rolled.
10:38 a.m.: Phone found – A cell phone was found in La Conner and turned over to deputies, who charged it and were able determine who owned the phone and returned it.
Wednesday June 3
1:39 p.m.: Lost wallet – Somebody lost their wallet around Sixth and Morris streets in La Conner.
4:13 p.m.: Wandering dogs – Two dogs were running around the area of Snow Goose Farm onFir Island Road and were running in and out of traffic. They were rounded up and returned to their owners.
Thursday June 4
9:24 a.m.: Drunk driver – A vehicle collided with a concrete retaining wall near La Conner Retirement Inn. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
11:10 a.m.: Privacy – A person had concerns about someone else opening their mail, 100 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.
12:39 a.m.: Hot dog – A caller worried that a dog had been in a car with the window cracked for 10 minutes at El Gitano restaurant in La Conner. But the dog did not appear to be in distress and the owner had been monitoring the dog.
1:07 p.m.: Kid question – A parent had questions regarding whether the staff at La Conner Elementary could touch a child who is failing to follow directions.
3:41 p.m.: Bus accident – A ConwaySchool District bus was stopped onPioneer Highway to let children off and a truck driver failed to see the bus had stopped and ran into the back of it. Both occupants of the truck, a 2002 Isuzu cab-over, were injured. One of the truck occupants was trapped in the vehicle for a while.
