10:23 p.m.: Rock throwing – Someone was reported to be throwing rocks offRainbowBridge onto the road below.
Wednesday June 17
10:39 a.m.: Launch mishap – A truck and trailer slid into Swinomish Channel and sunk when a visitor launched his boat at low tide from the La Conner town boat launch onSherman Street.
11:50 a.m.: Napper – A sleeping and intoxicated person was found outside of Pioneer Market in La Conner and given a ride home.
8:05 p.m.: Sunk Boat – A boat that had been left on the dock atPioneerPointMarina in La Conner sank, resulting in a visit from the State Department of Ecology to deal with spilt fuel and oil. The owner was contacted after deputies finally found the improperly displayed registrations.
