4:33 p.m .: Fight report – A caller thought a fight was brewing onMorris Street in La Conner, but it turned out the dispute was nothing physical.
8:30 p.m .: Peace keeping – Deputies stood by while someone took property from a home onCaledonia Street in La Conner in keeping with a court order.
Tuesday July 21
11:13 a.m .: Shoplifting – Somebody caught swiping candy at La Conner Drug Store refused to wait for law enforcement and scratched an employee while leaving.
Wednesday July 22
6:18 p.m .: Boat fire – A boat caught fire shortly after leaving La Conner Marina for a 10-day cruise. Skagit Bay Search & Rescue, La Conner Fire Department, Fire District 13 and the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office marine patrol responded and both occupants of the boat made it safely to shore. The vessel was a total loss.
6:20 p.m .: Alarm – An alarm went off at La Conner Schools, but a custodian was on site and there was no problem.
Thursday July 23
7:16 p.m .: Long wait – Deputies checked on a person who had been waiting at a bus stop all day on March’sPoint Road. The person wanted a ride to Marysville.
Friday July 24
7:27 a.m .: Yard camper – A man was found sleeping in the yard of a home on S. 4th Street in La Conner without the homeowner’s permission. He had outstanding warrants so he was given sleeping accommodations in the county jail.
11:44 a.m .: Flames – A report of visible flaming from the seam unit incident at the Shell Refinery in Anacortes.
2:25 p.m .: Runaway – AConway 16-year-old ran away during the night.
Sunday July 26
4:12 a.m .: Catch & Release – Someone was booked and released for outstanding warrants after turning up uninvited, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.
6:44 a.m .: Big ticket – A driver with a suspended license was stopped by a traffic deputy onChilberg Road east of La Conner.
8:25 a.m .: Scary ride – A boat lost power while traveling through notoriousDeceptionPass. Adults and kids were on board.
6:04 p.m .: Suspicious – A door and window were open on a school bus parked at La Conner High School.
