Monday, September 7

10:52 a.m .: Speeding – A vehicle onFir Island Road inConway coming from the north fork end of theSkagitRiver was reported to be speeding.

12:19 p.m .: Car in the way – Somebody parked their vehicle blocking a clearly-marked driveway onMorris Street in La Conner, blocking in out-of-town parked in the driveway who needed to leave. Deputies could not find contact information for the vehicle’s owner, so it was both ticketed and towed.

Tuesday, September 8

5:54 p.m .: Inappropriate email – An ex sent an email to a La Conner resident in violation of a court order.

Wednesday, September 9

12:06 p.m .: Suspicious container – A suspicious case was reported near theRainbowBridge in La Conner. The case was gone when deputies arrived to check on it, but surveyors were working in the area.

Thursday, September 10

9:11 p.m .: Suspicious lights – People were reported to be in the area of La Conner Marina with flashlights.

Friday, September 11

7:35 a.m .: False alarm – An alarm went off at La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum. There were no problems.

8:06 a.m .: Missing ornaments – Someone stole lawn ornaments from in front of a building onMorris Street in the night.

12:18 p.m .: Warrant – A person was arrested at Myrtle and 1st Street in La Conner on a warrant for driving with a suspended license. He was booked and released.

11:08 p.m .: Barking dogs – A person onMyrtle Street in La Conner was concerned because a neighbor’s dogs were out and barking. No one was home.

Saturday, September 12

9:13 a.m .: Theft – A pay box was stolen from the La Conner Marina.

3:11 p.m .: Oops! – An alarm went off at La Conner High School because of an employee error.

7:45 p.m .: 911 Hang-up – Someone called from a coin phone on 2nd Street in La Conner near the La Conner Marina. No one was around.

Sunday, September 13

3:15 p.m .: Nuisance vehicle – A person reported an abandoned vehicle because they were concerned about a blocked view onWashington Avenue in La Conner, but the driveway was accessible.

Monday, September 14

8:47 a.m .: Drunk driver – Deputies could not locate a vehicle reported to be driven by someone under the influence of drugs or alcoholLa Conner Whitney Road andFlats Road in La Conner.
