Tuesday, September 15
7:15 p.m.: Burglary Mystery –A burglary occurred at a property on 4th Street in La Conner. Deputies are trying to identify a suspect that has spent time in a couple of unlocked residences and likely entered at least one unlocked vehicle.
8:38 p.m.: Theft – The same person from the Post Office called reporting the same fraud incident, this time fromCaledonia Street in La Conner. This person has called several times reporting this incident.
Wednesday, September 16
5:20 a.m.: Trespassing or not? –A report of a man trespassing at a warehouse onCaledonia Street in La Conner was unfounded. It was a fisherman who was picking up his things and had permission to be there.
9:23 a.m.: Malicious Mischief – The reporting party from a business in the 700 block of 1st Street in La Conner is no longer in the area for contact.
11:33 a.m.: Traffic Enforcement – A driver at Morris and 6th Streets in La Conner drove through a crosswalk while a crossing guard was guiding students across the street.
12:29 p.m.: Theft – Deputies were given a video of a person removing crab pots from a dock on 1st Street in La Conner. Deputies have been able to identify the suspect, but not to locate him.
11:16 p.m.: Ahoy – There was a boating problem in the Swinomish Channel in La Conner.
Thursday, September 17
12:31 a.m.: False Alarm – An alarm went off at a restaurant onMaple Avenue in La Conner. The business has been asked to get its alarm looked at due to almost nightly alarms.
7:58 a.m.: Burglary Mystery Part II – Another burglary which was related to the one on Tuesday occurred at a different property on 4th Street in La Conner.
12:34 p.m.: Welfare Check – A friend tried to reach a resident ofDalan Place in La Conner and someone else answered the phone. Turned out the friend’s phone number had been changed and the old number had been given to someone else.
10:17 p.m.: Burglary Mystery Part III – A suspicious person was seen on 4th Street in La Conner. Several of the suspicious reports indicate that the suspect has been seen entering a residence; however, further investigation revealed that the suspect was only seen in the neighborhood.
Friday, September 18
6:59 a.m.: Burglary Mystery Part IV – A prowler was seen on 4th Street in La Conner. Evidence has been collected and deputies are hopeful that it will lead to an arrest. Residents should make it a habit to secure their homes and vehicles.
11:29 p.m.: Suspicious – A person reported a suspicious vehicle onFir Island Road inConway that resulted in the arrest of an intoxicated driver.
Saturday, September 19
1:03 a.m.: False Alarm Once More – The alarm went off at the same restaurant onMaple Avenue as on Thursday.
1:47 a.m.: A Different False Alarm – A false alarm went off at a business onFir Island Road inConway. The call was cancelled before deputies arrived on the scene.
4:55 a.m.: Domestic – A verbal argument heard over the cell phone took place onCaledonia Street in La Conner, where no one appeared to be home. The report is not done.
11:52 a.m.: Lonely Dog – AChihuahua was found wandering near a business in the 400 block ofMorris Street.
11:36 p.m.: Wild Night – A person with a large group was yelling and being disruptive at a business in the 700 block of 1st Street in La Conner.
Sunday, September 20
7:23 p.m.: DUI – A driver followed someone suspected to be under the influence. The impaired driver ended up crashing into some mailboxes atChilberg Road andBest Road inMount Vernon. Deputies investigating took the driver into custody.
9:56 p.m.: Not Again! – The alarm went off yet again at the restaurant onMaple Avenue in La Conner.
Monday, September 21
8:06 a.m.: Traffic Enforcement – A person on Morris Street in La Conner was driving erratically.
