Wednesday Nov 11

1:59 p.m.: Found materials – Deputies found electrical construction materials in the road near Town Hall in La Conner. The items likely fell from a vehicle leaving a work site in town. They contacted all the contractors known to be working in town and still haven’t found the owner.

2:23 p.m.: Found bicycle – Another found bicycle was turned into the Sheriff’s station at La Conner. The station commander asks parents to check their garages, because there have been a few bikes turned in lately and, “they are getting here, but not leaving.”

Thursday Nov 12

12:28 p.m.: Kid thing – An elementary school student apparently stole a cell phone and it was returned to its owner.

1:56 p.m.: Stop texting – A fellow left the scene of an argument with his girlfriend, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner, and he kept getting text messages from her. He wanted deputies to tell her to stop texting him.

5:58 p.m.: Oops! – A driver struck the stop sign at Washington Ave. and S. 2nd Street in La Conner and had already notified public works.

Friday Nov 13

10:50 p.m.: Alarm – An alarm went off at a business onEast Pearle Jensen Way, La Conner. No problems.

Saturday Nov 14

1:05 p.m.: Potty party – Intoxicated people were given a ride home from the public restroom onMorris Street in La Conner.

5:04: Leafy – A La Conner business owner reported a verbal confrontation with another business owner who was clearing the drains of leaves.

Sunday Nov 15

1:07 a.m.: Not neighborly – An upstairs apartment resident complained that a downstairs resident was banging on the ceiling in the middle of the night, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.

14:18: Debit card – Somebody’s debit card was left at Pioneer Market and deputies were gong to return it to its owner.

Monday Nov 16

8:21 a.m.: Round up – A horse and a sheep had their morning adventure interrupted when deputies herded them out of the road and back into their pasture nearLa Conner Whitney Road north of La Conner.
