8:16 a.m.: Adrift – A boat had mechanical problems and had to drop anchor to keep from drifting further down the Swinomish Channel. A family member came to the rescue with a second boat.
11:16 a.m.: Lost license – Somebody was missing their driver’s license at Pioneer Market in La Conner.

9:36 a.m.: Broken light –A street light was reported broken in downtownConway.
5:03 p.m.: Suspicious – Caller thought they saw someone holding another person down inside a vehicle parked at the a gas station inConway.
11:28 p.m.: Big ticket item – Deputies contacted someone driving with a suspended license at the Swinomish Yacht Club near the La Conner Marina.

10:17 a.m.:Up in Smoke – The La Conner Fire Department responded to a burning garage onMcLean Road inMount Vernon along with Fire District 2 firefighters.
Sunday Nov 29
2:21 p.m.: Opps! – A business onSouth First Street in La Conner accidentally called 911.
9:56 p.m.: Ice ride – A vehicle slid on the ice into a sign near Rexville Grocery.
11:13 p.m.:Slippery ride – A vehicle slid off the icy road into a field near the La Conner roundabout.
11:31 p.m.:Yard parkin’– A vehicle slid off icy La Conner Whitney Road and ended up in someone’s yard.
Monday Nov 30
9:07 a.m.:The ice did it again– A vehicle slid into another vehicle that was stopped to make a turn nearFinley Lane andMaple Avenue in La Conner. Due to the icy conditions the driver was not able to stop in time.
From the Sheriff’s Office: “Just a reminder to all drivers that the temperatures over night often dictated the conditions in the morning and areas that see little to no sun during the day will likely be slick even if the temperatures warm during the day. Slowing your travels by ten miles an hour on a trip from La Conner to Mount Vernon will only cost a person about a minute more travel time, which is a lot cheaper than a $300-plus tow and any damage to a vehicle and someone else's
