4:32 p.m.: Cross country getaway – Someone out onLa Conner Whitney Road reported their vehicle was stolen and that it was inCalifornia. This can’t be a, “I forgot where I parked my car”.
8:06 p.m.: Keyless ― Someone reported losing their keys at the La Conner Post Office, they were advised to check back during business hours.

8:10 a.m.: 2016’s first arrest! – Someone onWhatcom Street in La Conner was booked and released for a failure to comply warrant.
Saturday Jan 2
8:49 a.m.: Theft warrant – Someone onMorris Street was booked and released on a warrant for theft.
1:28 p.n.: MOVE YOUR CAR...please – A vehicle was blocking another vehicle onFirst Street in La Conner. The owner of the rude vehicle was contacted and it was moved.
Monday Jan 4
8:28 a.m.: Suicide – Several people reported that they saw a man jump from the outside the railing on the north end of theDeceptionPassBridge. A man’s body was found beneath the bridge and he was turned over to the Skagit County Coroner. The deceased person’s identity had not been released on Monday.
9:41 a.m.: Runaway to school – A child reported as a runaway was located at La Conner Middle School.
