Monday Jan 5

1:26 p.m.: Computer issue – An 87-year old La Conner man loaned a computer to an acquaintance and it was not returned. The man got it back before the deputies contacted the “borrower.”

Thursday Jan 7

7:40 a.m.: Arrest – A 28-year-old man was arrested onMorris Street in La Conner and went to jail on an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Friday Jan 8

5:27 p.m.: Just checking – A 38-year-old La Conner man called to ask about a court order that he believed was to be served on him. The Sheriff’s office had not record of the court order.

Saturday Jan 9

9:21 a.m.: Phone games – Someone called 911 from the pay phone at La Conner Marina and hung up. A deputy responded and checked the area, but found no problem.

3:49 p.m.: Sun was out – A motorist reported a car being driven erratically onFir Island Road near Snow Goose Farm. The deputy located the vehicle as it entered La Conner. The driver had not been drinking but was having trouble seeing with that big bright yellow thing glaring through the windshield.

Sunday Jan 10

11:52 a.m.: Checking again – The 38-year-old La Conner man called back, but deputies still didn’t have a record of a court order that he said was supposed to be served against him.
