Wednesday March 2
12:31 a.m. Assault – a 48-year-old La Conner man reported that his girlfriend of two years had assaulted him. She left on foot but was contacted the next day and arrested for the assault.
1:33 a.m.: Loud cleaners – Someone complained that the cleaning crew next door,700 Morris Street in La Conner, was making too much noise and interfering with sleep. The crew was contacted by a deputy and said they would finish up.
10:56 a.m.: False alarm – An alarm went off at another home onChannel Drive north of La Conner. The building was secure.
2:52 p.m.: Happy hour – A 57-year-old intoxicated woman was given a ride to her sister’s house from the area of the public restrooms onMorris Street in La Conner.
4:24 p.m.: Arrest – A 47-year-old man was arrested near Pioneer Market in La Conner for outstanding arrest warrants.
7:42 p.m.: One man party! – An intoxicated 64-year-old man was being loud and was given a ride home fromPark Street in La Conner.
Thursday March 3
2:16 a.m.: Dumbfounded – An intoxicated 63-year-old man fromConway reported what he thought might have been a burglary, but the report appeared to be unfounded.
11:15 a.m.: False alarm – At the La Conner School administration building.
3:56 p.m.: Found hound – The person who found the dog on S.Second Street in La Conner was going to try to find the owner.
Friday March 4
10:55 a.m.: Ouch! – A 58-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and hit the guardrail near the north fork of theSkagitRiver onBest Road.
1:29 p.m.: Oops! – Swinomish Police helped a person get into their locked vehicle near the La Conner Post Office.
Saturday March 5
4:24 a.m.: Sleepers – There was a report of a truck and a van with people sleeping inside, 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner. Everyone was found to be O.K., but the driver of the van, a 26-year-old woman, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
7:08 a.m.: Assault – Swinomish Police arrested a 27-year-old man at Pioneer Market in La Conner for outstanding warrants, resisting arrest and assault.
2:39 p.m.: Just talking – a 22-year-old man in La Conner wanted to talk to a deputy about an accident that occurred previously.
3:49 p.m.: Found wallet – A wallet was found in the public restroom at La Conner Marina and returned to its owner inBellingham.
Sunday March 6
5:18 p.m.: What the? – Somebody put a parking sign with a concrete base on the hood of a woman’s car while she was at work. The car was parked in the lot at the south end ofFirst Street in La Conner.
