12:41 p.m.: Wires down – Cable wires were down onMaple Avenue in La Conner.

5:12 p.m.: Weeds – An elderly woman called about noxious weeds growing in her yard on Caledonia Street in La Conner.

6:31 p.m.: Hit-and-Run – Stanwood Police requested information on a vehicle in La Conner that was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Deputies located the suspect driver and vehicle and provided the information to the Stanwood investigators.

Tuesday Mar 15

10:01 p.m.:Over did it – A 60-year-old woman was apparently so intoxicated at a Morris Street tavern in La Conner she had to be transported to a hospital by medics.

Wednesday Mar 16

2:44 p.m.: Downed Kitty – There was a vehicle verses cat incident nearPioneerPark in La Conner. The cat was transported to a veterinary hospital by the animal control deputy.

Thursday Mar 17

11:16 a.m.: Weeds again – Noxious weeds were still growing in elderly woman’s front yard on Caledonia Street in La Conner.

Friday Mar 18

6:06 p.m.: Oops! – 911 hang-up from the La Conner Retirement Inn was an accident. Everything was okay.

6:13 p.m.: Pooch Bite – A woman said she was bitten by a dog while she was at the Post Office in La Conner. She didn’t want the dog owner contacted.

8:35 p.m.: Swervin’ – Someone reported a drunk driver onMaple Avenue in La Conner. The vehicle and driver were located near the roundabout, but the driver was not intoxicated.

Saturday Mar 19

10:32 a.m.: Death – There was an unattended death of a man at a condo on Whatcom Street in La Conner. There was no evidence of foul play.

2:57 p.m.: Fender bender – Vehicles collided atFirIsland and Maupin roads nearConway. Nobody hurt.
