4:04 p.m.: Found wallet – Someone reported a wallet at a business onFirst Street in La Conner. The owner was contacted and the wallet was returned.
Tuesday March 29
3:04 a.m.: Loud movin’ – A neighbor onMorris Street in La Conner called to report noise in the middle of the night. The noise was caused by a man moving things into a storage shed. He agreed to pick up where he left off during the day.
Wednesday March 30
12:28 a.m.: Check in – Someone in La Conner called to gather information on a no-contact order.
9:16 a.m.: Landscaping Thief – A resident inConway reported their shed was broken into and lawn maintenance equipment was stolen. This is still under investigation.
1:35 p.m.: K9 saftey – Animal control officers contacted the owner of an elderly dog onS. Third Street in La Conner to explain some options for care.
7:11 p.m.: Violent sign – A woman contacted deputies to report a sign that fell on her vehicle and damaged it onMaple Avenue in La Conner. It is unknown to what caused this.
7:40 p.m.: Oops! – A man accidently launched his truck into the channel at the Sherman Street Boat Launch in La Conner. The vehicle was towed out.
Thursday Mar 31
6:37 p.m.: Happy hour – Two intoxicated people were given a ride home by a deputy from the Maple Hall parking lot in La Conner.
9:30 p.m.: Threatening – A tow truck driver helping a motorist near the La Conner Post Office thought a passerby was making threats. A deputy determined that no crime was committed.
Friday April 1
8:01 a.m.: Oops! – An employee accidentally set off an alarm at a restaurant on S.First Street in La Conner.
9:08 a.m.: Scam – Someone in La Conner called to report a phone scam call.
1:44 p.m.: Dirty laundry – A woman from out of town was given a formal trespass notice after making a mess in the laundry room at La Conner Marina.
1:51 p.m.: Threatening – Someone was escorted off of a property on Pleasant Ridge after being taken to a local hospital three hours earlier and released.
3:02 p.m.: Hmm...? – A suspicious green SUV was seen parked in a cul-de-sac onBirch Lane in La Conner.
3:16 p.m.: Found wallet – A business owner onFirst Street in La Conner turned in a lost wallet, the wallet was turned over to its owner by a deputy.
3:22 p.m.: Too close for comfort – Shell Refinery in Anacortes reported kayakers who were too close to their infrastructure on March’s Point. They were gone before deputies arrived.
Sunday April 3
10:21 a.m.: Ancient Bullets – Family members found old ammunition they wanted disposed of while going through a deceased grandfather’s belongings on S.First Street in La Conner. Deputies assumed control and will properly dispose of it.
11:56 a.m.: Hot Dog – Someone reported a hot dog in a car at RoozenGaarde display garden east of La Conner. Deputies found the dog to be fine.
2:30 p.m.: Hot Dog V2 – Another hot dog in the parking lot at RoozenGaarde. The vehicle was gone before deputies arrived.
