8:31 p.m .: Shower stop – A property owner found a couple taking a shower in a vacant condo she owned onWhatcom Street in La Conner. The pair was located down the street, and the owner wanted them warned for trespassing.
10:59 p.m .: Drama – A 38-year-old mother and her 18-year-old daughter were having a verbal dispute at the 900 block onMaple Avenue in La Conner.
Wednesday April 13
4:52 a.m .: Check up – A confused person contacted Life Alert and reported being abused at the La Conner Retirement Inn. This was investigated and found to be false.
10:54 p.m .: Left ID – One of the showering trespassers left her identification in theWhatcom Street condo in La Conner.
4:09 p.m .: Found – At the lighting store onMorris Street was a backpack with no identifying items inside. Backpack is being held in evidence at the sheriff’s office.
Thursday April 14
4:48 p.m .: Unruly rider – A Skagit Transit driver reported that a man who had been previously kicked off a bus jumped in front of a bus on theRainbowBridge in La Conner. There was a report made of the incident.
Friday April 15
11:53 a.m .: Really rotten – Someone stole a cash box with approximately $200 inside from the Boys & Girls Club in La Conner. There are no suspects.
12:42 p.m .: Feral dirt – Piles of mud onMaple Avenue in La Conner came from farm equipment leaving the fields. The farmer cleaned it up.
1:47 p.m .: Happy hour – A 58-year-old man, reported to be drinking beer behind the public
restrooms on Morris Street in La Conner, got a ride home from deputies.
2:00 p.m .: Hit and run – Somebody backed their vehicle into another vehicle sometime during the day at the La Conner Elementary School. No suspects.
9:12 p.m .: Big ticket! – A 37-year-old woman was arrested onMaple Avenue in La Conner for driving with a suspended license and for outstanding warrants.
Saturday April 16
7:02 a.m .: False alarm – False alarm at the La Conner High School.
10:08 a.m .: False alarm – False alarm at Doc Holliday’s gun shop in La Conner. Employee error.
2:37 p.m .: Hot dog – a report of a dog locked in a car at the La Conner Marina. Deputies responded and found no issue.
5:03 p.m .: Hot dog – a report of another dog locked in a car in front of the Ginger Grater on S.First Street in La Conner. Vehicle was gone before deputies arrived.
Sunday April 17
12:46 p.m .: Theft – A report of an employee suspected of stealing from the Conway Pub. The employee ended up quitting.
1:17 p.m .: Strolling pooch – A report of a pit bull walking around La Conner. The dog was not aggressive, and deputies were unable to locate the pup.
1:20 p.m .: Rude drivers – Several motorists were blocking other customers from leaving the Rexville Grocery parking lot. They left at the request of a deputy.
Monday April 18
9:40 a.m .: No free speech – Again more “vote no on the levy” signs were knocked down in La Conner, this time onN. Third Street.
