5:18 p.m.: Hat drop – A 20-year-old man was confronted as he tried to walk out of Pioneer Market in La Conner with a hat he didn’t pay for. He left the hat.
Tuesday May 3
12:39 p.m.: Booze snooze – A 58-year-old man was sleeping on a bench near the public restrooms onMorris Street. Deputies gave him a ride home.
1:50 p.m.: Oops! – A 17-year-old boy lost control of his vehicle and ran offLa Conner Whitney Road north of La Conner and hit a gas meter at a home.
3:03 p.m. Tipsy rider – Someone was concerned that an intoxicated passenger might fall out of a vehicle that had just left a market onFirIsland. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
6:09 p.m.: Pedestrian hit – A 12-year-old La Conner girl was injured when she was struck by a car driven by a 68-year-oldMount Vernon woman as the girl and her dog crossedChilberg Road atDodge Valley Road just east of La Conner.
Wednesday May 4
1:57 a.m.: Night fight – There was a verbal dispute between a fellow and his intoxicated girlfriend at La Conner Marina. The woman was given a ride to a friend’s house.
7:17 a.m.: Medical aid – A 59-year-old woman asked to be transported from the La Conner Marina to the hospital for medical treatment.
3:16 p.m.: Arrest – A 44-year-old woman pulled over in a routine traffic stop on Chilberg Road east of La Conner turned out to have outstanding arrest warrants. She was arrested.
Thursday May 5
9 a.m.: Oops! – An employee accidently set off the alarm at La Conner Drug Store.
Friday May 6
3:55 a.m.: Early riser – Loud music was coming from an apartment, 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner. The resident turned down the pre-dawn concert when the deputy showed up.
Saturday May 7
3:58 a.m.: False alarm – The alarm went off at the Conway Pub, but the deputy found everything secure.
11:59 a.m.: Really? – A man was seen trying to get money out of the parking pay slots of the metal payment receptacle at the private $5 per day parking lot at the south end ofFirst Street in La Conner. He was not successful.
4:15 p.m.: Worried mom – A woman in the Pleasant Ridge area wanted aid for her 22-year-old son because she thought he was possibly on drugs. The son left before the deputy arrived and could not be located.
Sunday May 7
4:12 p.m.: Stalker – A 31-year-old woman was being followed in a remote area ofConway by someone who was supposed to stay away from her, per a court order. Deputies couldn’t locate the suspect, but they will.
