5:31 p.m .: Stranded – A 75-year-old woman was stranded inConway and needed a ride. A deputy gave her a lift to the Stanwood Park & Ride.
Wednesday May 25
6:27 a.m .: Mean driver – There was a report of a vehicle that swerved, trying to hit two raccoons that were on the shoulder of the road near theRainbowBridge in La Conner. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.
7:13 a.m .: Get home, Aaron! – A cattle dog named Aaron was reported missing inConway.
11 a.m .: Low limb – A delivery truck hit a low tree limb onTalbott Street in La Conner. The limb then got tangled in to power lines. There was little damage to the vehicle, and the power company removed the limb from the lines. The accident was investigated by Washington State Patrol commercial vehicle officer.
Friday May 27
11:57 a.m .: Suspicious – There was a report of a suspicious person possibly “casing” houses in La Conner.
11:28 p.m .: Teenagers – Somebody reported that there was a group of teenagers, possibly “up to no good” across the street from the Country Inn in La Conner. The kids were gone and no problems found when deputies checked.
Saturday May 28
1:08 a.m .: Big ticket – A deputy made a routine traffic stop and discovered the 17-year-old girl driving had a suspended license. The driver was cited, and a licensed driver was called to drive the vehicle.
5:19 p.m .: Dispute – A dispute at the 900 block,Maple Ave., La Conner had carried over from the Swinomish Reservation and was referred to Swinomish Police.
Sunday May 29
1:26 a.m .: Oops! – An employee accidently set off an alarm at La Conner Pub & Eatery.
2 a.m .: DUI – Swinomish police arrested a 41-year-old woman for driving under the influence near the intersection ofCaledonia and Park streets in La Conner.
4:17 a.m .: Noise – A complaint of loud music coming from an apartment, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner. They turned it down when the deputy arrived.
Monday May 30
12:54 a.m .: Dispute – There was a dispute over child custody, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner. No crime.
