10:29 a.m.: Burglary – A storage shed owned by the Town ofLa Conner was broken into, and an old broken leaf blower was taken.
1:39 p.m.: Drug problem – AConway student found a marijuana pipe on school property. The owner was not located.
1:40p.m.: Big ticket – A vehicle was pulled over in La Conner for speeding, and the owner was cited for driving with a suspended license.
5:04p.m.: Reported assault – Law enforcement received a report of a domestic assault occurring in a vehicle at Pioneer Park in La Conner, but when the occupants were later contacted by Swinomish Police, the couple denied there had been an assault — and there was no evidence.
Tuesday June 7
11:33 a.m.: Parenting problems – A man called La Conner deputies to report the mother of his children might be breaking the conditions of their parenting plan. He was advised to contact the court.
Wednesday June 8
8:05 p.m.: Angry argument – A couple was publically arguing at the Shell station on Highway 20 north of La Conner and deputies helped settle the disagreement, which ended with the woman giving the man a ride home. The two were not charged with a crime.
Thursday June 9
4:57 p.m.: Reported DUI – A possible drunk driver was reported driving east onFir Island Road. When police arrived, they could not locate the driver.
Saturday, June 11
8:30 p.m.: Escaped Cow – A cow escaped from a field north of La Conner and was found wandering down the road. A deputy helped bring it back home.
Sunday June 12
2:01 a.m.: Speedy Gonzales – A red car has been reported speeding downMaple Street every night. Police haven’t caught it yet, but are keeping an eye out.
5:05 a.m.: Unattended death – An elderly person died in La Conner. No foul play suspected.
5:45 p.m.: Creepy car – A suspicious car was reported atPioneerPark, but was gone by the time police arrived.
11:18 p.m.: Oops! – An employee accidently set off an alarm at the Conway Pub.
11:58 p.m.: False alarm – A carbon monoxide alarm went off in an unoccupied apartment onPark Street in La Conner and was reset when no problems were detected.
Monday June 13
4:18 a.m.: Scary clothes – A person was reported dressed in black head-to-toe and walking outside an apartment building, 900 block Maple Ave., La Conner. Police did not find the person or any problems.
