Monday June 13

3:28 p.m .: Fender Bender – Minor damage to vehicles involved in an accident at a business on Pearle Jensen Way in La Conner. Deputy helped in the information exchange.

7:36 p.m .: Unwanted Company – A guest who refused to leave an apartment, 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner, was gone by the time deputies arrived. Swinomish Police contacted the unwanted house guest and issued a trespass warning.

9 p.m .: Pooch Snatching – A theft of a pet dog that occurred on the Swinomish Reservation was reported at an apartment, 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner. The case was turned over to the Swinomish Police.

Tuesday June 14

5:42 a.m .: Traffic hazard – Rocks fell onPioneer Parkway just west of theRainbowBridge. Swinomish Police officers removed them.

6:15 a.m .: Tree down – Skagit County Public Works was called out for a large tree that fell across the road nearDodgeValley and Valentine roads.

8:01 a.m .: Drugs – Someone reported that a man was snorting drugs in front of the Conway Pub. Deputy couldn’t find the snorter.

Wednesday June 15

9:33 p.m .: Fraud – There was a fraud concerning timeshare property inTexas reported by aConway resident.

10:49 p.m .: Arrest – A 49-year-old man was arrested on felony check fraud charges at a home in La Conner.

Thursday June 16

11:00 p.m .: Family Argument – A 14-year-old broke a window in a La Conner home onMorris Street after a disagreement with his mother over discipline.

Friday June 17

3:51 a.m .: Broken Car – A car had to be towed from the middle of the road near the North Fork bridge onFirIsland.

8:44 p.m .: Smooth Sailing – The Coast Guard received a report of a boat in trouble nearGoat Island. When authorities contacted the boat, everything was fine.

11:23p.m: Drug Problem – Report of people doing drugs in a car in the La Conner Marina area. Authorities could not locate.

Saturday June 18

5:10 a.m .: Burglary – An espresso stand near the Shell station north of La Conner onLa Conner Whitney Road was broken into, but nothing was taken.

8:31 p.m .: Hack Job – An argument on 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner quickly escalated when the woman threatened her boyfriend with a hatchet. La Conner deputy and Swinomish police responded.

Monday June 20

8:15 a.m .: Missing Phone – A phone was reported stolen at aFirst Street gallery in La Conner. The owner said they lost it the night before.
