3:02p.m.: Lost keys – Someone lost her keys in La Conner.

5:47p.m.: Mean comments – A person at 900 block,Maple Ave., La Conner called police to inform them that a neighbor in the same apartment complex was posting negative comments about him.

11:19p.m.: Suicide attempt – Washington State Patrol and the Island County Sheriff’s Department responded to a possible suicide attempt atDeceptionPassBridge.

Tuesday July 12

9:38 a.m.: Found person – WhatcomCounty police requested assistance to check theDeceptionPassBridge for a missing person.IslandCounty deputies found theWhatcomCounty resident.

9:47 a.m.: Recovered body – La Conner deputies helped theIslandCounty sheriff recover a body at theDeceptionPassBridge.

Wednesday July 13

3:43 a.m.: Bad brother – A 40-year-old man was arrested at the La Conner roundabout at Chilberg andWhitney Road, La Conner for the assault of his adult brother.

4:37 p.m.: Good dog – Someone called police about a dog being locked in a car along First Street, La Conner. Deputies checked and the dog seemed fine.

Thursday July 14

3:19 a.m.: Overdose – A 64-year-old man was brought to the hospital fromSixth Street, La Conner after he called 911, saying he overdosed on sleeping pills.

4:13 p.m.: Go away – Deputies arrested a 64-year-old man atNorth Sixth Street, La Conner for violating a no contact court order.

Friday July 15

3:00 p.m.: Questions – Police answered a caller’s questions fromSouth Second Street, La Conner about a no contact order.

Saturday July 16

12:59 a.m.: Troublesome teens – Teenagers at 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner were reportedly harassing Ragnar Race runners in the area. Police could not find the teens.

6:06 a.m.: Death – A 59-year-old male died at his home, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner.

10:38 a.m.: Hurry up – Deputies checked on a 35-year-old woman who was parked at the La Conner Kayak rental dock onFirst Street and yelling. She was just having a bad day and was letting her friend know she would leave if the friend didn’t return from the store soon.

3:10 p.m.: Loud argument – A 57-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were in a verbal fight atSouth Third Street, La Conner.

3:22 p.m.: Found wallet – A wallet was found at Caffe Jubilee, La Conner. Deputies were able to return it.

Sunday July 17

3:51 p.m.: Locked out – A car owner was waiting for a friend to bring a spare key for his vehicle atCedardale Road,Conway. There were no problems found.

Monday July 18

7:37 a.m.: Lost wallet – A person called police in La Conner to see if her black wallet had been found.

9:02 a.m.: Phone stolen –A cell phone was reported stolen at the 76 Station onCedardale Road,Conway.
