10:45 a.m.: Bank flap – A 47-year-old man was disturbing customers at Washington Federal Bank in La Conner. He left when he was asked to do so by deputies.
1:15 p.m.: Hot dog – A dog was reported locked in a vehicle onFirst Street near the La Conner Tavern; the vehicle was gone upon deputy arrival.
Tuesday Aug 30
7:00 a.m.: Suspicious – A suspicious looking man wearing khakis and a grey sweatshirt was walking around in the Channel Cove parking lot in La Conner. Deputies were unable to locate him.
7:43 a.m.: Love tap – Somebody backed into a utility trailer parked in the La Conner Marina’s parking lot. Deputy assisted vehicle owner and trailer owner as they exchanged info.
9:55 a.m.: Traveling wallet – A visitor’s wallet was turned into La Conner Town Hall. A deputy contacted the owner inMinnesota and mailed it to her.
12:42 p.m.: Roadside trailer – Somebody was concerned about a travel trailer parked in the town’s right-of-way onS. Third Street in La Conner. She was referred to the town’s code enforcement officer.
Thursday Sept 1
4:31 p.m.: Derp! – Somebody drove away from the Shell gas station onLa Conner Whitney Road and Hwy. 20 with the pump nozzle still in their vehicle. It was never located.
Friday Sept 2
12:52 p.m.: Crunch – A two-car collision onFirIsland inConway caused one vehicle to be towed away. There were no human injuries, however.
6:57 p.m.: Mama drama – A 37-year-old woman walking away from her mother after a verbal argument sparked a trespassing report from someone at the condos onS. Whatcom Street in La Conner.
7:12 p.m.: Mama drama II – Another argument, this time the daughter was headed out of town onMorris Street on foot.
Sunday Sept 4
7:24 a.m.: Rollover – There was a single vehicle roll-over crash at McLean and La Conner Whitney roads. No injuries.
8:24 a.m.: Poor Bambi – A deer was struck and killed by a car onDodge Valley Road east of La Conner.
