Monday Sept 5

11:35 a.m.: Relax– Deputies found no violation of a court order between a 46-year-old woman and her ex-boyfriend onFirst Street, La Conner.

Tuesday Sept 6

12:12 p.m.: Burglary – A shed onFlats Road north of La Conner was burglarized in broad daylight. Power tools and an outboard motor were stolen. The suspect is a woman driving a white passenger car with a black stripe.

12:48 p.m.: Identity theft – There was a possible identity theft of an employee at the Shell Refinery onTexas Road, Anacortes.

1:15 p.m.: Drugs – A former employee left drug paraphernalia at Pioneer Market, La Conner.

1:38 p.m.: Too big rig – Several vehicles parked on S.First Street in La Conner were struck by a motor home rolling through town.

1:59 p.m.: Harassment – Deputies investigated the possible harassment of a manager by a former employee at the La Conner Retirement Inn onFirst Street. There was no crime.

Thursday Sept 8

2:45 p.m.: Moving out – A caller requested assistance in recovering his property from a home onValentine Road on Pleasant Ridge. He was advised to get a court order.

6:51 p.m.: Scream time – A mother and adult daughter were arguing about a TV on 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner.

10:13 p.m.: Mystery laptop – A caller found a laptop computer in his truck at 900 blockMaple Avenue, La Conner. Deputies couldn’t locate an owner and it was placed into evidence as found property.

Friday September 9

3:23 p.m.: All clear – Reports of a chemical leak at the Shell Refinery onTexas Road, Anacortes were unfounded.

Saturday September 10

3:30 p.m.: Dog gone – There was a report of a dog left in a vehicle onCaledonia Street, La Conner. Deputies couldn’t locate it.

5:45 p.m.: Dog found – A border collie was found wandering downtown near First and Morris streets in La Conner. The caller took the dog home until the owner could be found.

11:02 p.m.: Dog lost – AChihuahua went missing at La Conner Marina. “Gimbal” was found by her owners in her bed.

Sunday September 11

4:15 p.m.: AWOL dog – There wasChihuahua reported wandering onFirst Street near the La Conner Pub & Eatery. The caller said they’d take it to the Humane Society if the owner wasn’t located.

Monday September 12

4:16 a.m.: Daughter danger – A woman felt unsafe because she was concerned her adult daughter would come to her home in La Conner, but the daughter never showed up.

8:30 a.m.: Malicious mischief – A woman found her car damaged on S.First Street, La Conner, and named her ex-boyfriend as a suspect.

7:07 a.m.: Burglary – The Country Grounds coffee stand onMorris Street near the La Conner roundabout was broken into through the window, and the cash register was stolen.
