2:08 p.m .: Credit Check – Someone turned in a lost credit card into Town Hall in La Conner. Deputies could not contact the owner of the credit card, so it was passed over to the credit card company that issued it.
4:34 a.m .: Check Please – A local resident onMorris Street in La Conner suffering from mental health issues called police from the hospital to report people in her apartment. No problems found.
Tuesday Oct 4
10:05 a.m .: That’s Corny – There was a civil dispute onFir Island Road inConway between two trucking companies on who was going to haul a load of vegetables. The dispute has been squashed.
10:50 a.m .: Night School – There has been an on going issue of suspicious vehicles visiting theConwaySchool parking lot. Extra patrols have been requested.
4:45 p.m .: No Parking – A landlord onMorris Street in La Conner called about a vehicle an old tenant left onsite. Deputies advised the landlord on what his options are.
4:48 p.m .: Hang-up – 911 hang-up at the La Conner Marina.
Wednesday Oct 5
11:55 a.m .: Hang-up – 911 Hang-up at a pay phone onMorris Street in La Conner. Deputies checked, no issues.
3:28 p.m .: Child’s play – Someone threw a rock through a student’s car at La Conner High School. The rock recipient is deciding whether to pursue charges.
8:48 p.m .: Night Prowler – A report of a prowler looking into vehicles was reported near COA Restaurant onMaple Avenue in La Conner. Deputies were unable to locate the prowler.
Thursday Oct 6
8:45 a.m .: Theft – Someone stole a 20-horsepower outboard motor off of a boat that was parked next to a home onWashington Street in La Conner. The motor was snatched sometime in the night.
5:44 p.m .: Semi-Stuck – A semi tractor trailer got stuck in the mud in the section ofPioneerPark off S. Fourth Street in La Conner. A tow truck solved the problem.
Friday Oct 7
8:41 a.m .: Derpa Derp – Someone tried to pry open the “Credit or Debit Only” parking payment kiosk at the town’s public parking lot on S. Third Street in La Conner. The failed thief apparently failed to read that the meter takes no cash. Town officials said there was only minor cosmetic damage from someone trying to pry open the unit’s door.
Saturday Oct 8
10:27 a.m .: Potty Drama – A report of a verbal argument between a couple in the public restroom onMorris Street in La Conner. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the debaters.
Monday Oct 10
3:46 a.m .: Boxer Bandit – someone stole clothing from the shared laundry room at the 900 blockMaple Avenue in La Conner.
5:35 a.m .: Suspicious – Port ofSkagit security spotted an intruder in the dry dock area of La Conner Marina on a security camera. Deputies searched but were unable to find anyone.
