Tuesday Oct 25

2:14 a.m.: Drifters – A couple was parked in the parking lot of the Farmhouse Restaurant north of La Conner to sleep in their vehicle for the night. They were asked to move on.

7:20 a.m.: Check in – Request for a check in on a resident with dementia in La Conner. No problems.

3:28 p.m.: Fender bender – There was a small back-up accident at a parking lot inConway. Deputies assisted in exchange of information.

Thursday Oct 27

2:58 a.m.: Not welcome – Adult children were staying in their parent’s home on S. 4th Street in La Conner while their parents were out of town. The daughter believed her brother had a guest that their parents would not approve of. The guest agreed to leave when deputies arrived.

5:54 p.m.: Dialed up – A La Conner resident received a phone call from an unfamiliar number, the caller sounded like they were in distress. Deputies contacted the phone number and found that the person was inMount Vernon and had received help at the hospital.

Friday Oct 28

9:12 a.m.: Ducked up – Someone reported people carrying long guns north of Highway 20 andLa Conner Whitney Road. Deputies contacted duck hunters.

Saturday Oct 29

12:16 p.m.: Drama – A couple was arguing at the La Conner Marina. Deputies were summoned and contacted the people, and found it was only a verbal dispute, no crime.

Sunday Oct 30

6:03 a.m.: Oops! – The alarm at the Rexville Grocery was activated by an employee, there were no issues.

10:55 p.m.: Nervous – Someone reported what looked to be a suspicious vehicle staking out houses onState Street in La Conner. Deputies could not locate the vehicle or any other problems.
