La Conner resident Robert Olsson died on Saturday, December 3 at age 75.
Born on September 26, 1941, Bob was a beloved father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by the love of his life, Barb Williamson; his daughter and son-in-law René and Miles Schlosberg; and his daughter Anna Borusinski and grandsons Jack, Julian and Jasio and their father, Bart Borusinski; and numerous family members and friends.
His grandson Jack wrote the following with his grandpa’s help as a junior high school project. It depicts our dad and grandpa perfectly:
Gregarious, loyal, alert, introspective
Dad of René and Anna
Grandpa of Jack, Julian and Jasio
Who loves his family, boats, and being on the
water
Who needs good health, a comfortable trawler,
and a cabin in the woods of his own design
Who fears bears, sharks, and snakes
Who believes in family, change and being
positive
Who finds happiness in playing chess, boats,
and being with nature
Who would like to see his parents again, his
grandchildren in 50 years, and the year 2100
Who likes to listen to jazz, opera, and
classical music
Who likes wearing the color green, comfortable
shoes and nightshirts
Who lives in La Conner onCaledonia Street
