4:06 p.m .: Toilet paper bandits – Someone had removed the metal toilet paper holders from the Morris Street public restrooms in La Conner; they were lying on the ground. Public Works took care of this.
4:09 p.m .: Check up – Owner of a barista stand onFir Island Road called about a suspicious vehicle. Upon deputy arrival, it was found that the vehicle was broken down, and the owner of the Shell station said it was okay to leave the vehicle there overnight.
4:22 p.m .: Assist – Swinomish Police requested assistance looking for a suspect involved in a domestic assault onPioneer Parkway in La Conner. Unable to locate.
7:50 p.m .: Trespassing –A woman called believing that her ex-boyfriend was trespassing on her boat in La Conner. He was contacted and given a trespassing warning.

2:08 p.m .: Wires down – Tree branch hung up utility lines in front of the COA restaurant onMaple Avenue in La Conner. Public Works was notified.
Wednesday Jan 18
12:36 p.m .: Oops! – A three-vehicle fender bender at the roundabout onMcLean Road. No injuries.
9:29 p.m .: Suspicious – A suspicious male reported in the brush around theMorris Street public restrooms in La Conner. Deputies were unable to locate the man but spoke with a witness who knows the man is a local resident. No problems.
Thursday Jan 19
12:46 p.m .: Drug problem – A sixth-grader at the La Conner Middle School brought her aunt’s prescription medication to school.
2:55 p.m .: Potty party – A report of two intoxicated men hanging out at theMorris Street public restrooms in La Conner. They were gone upon the deputy’s arrival.
3:03 p.m .: Not ducky – A resident had issues with duck hunters on private property north of La Conner. It was transferred to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Friday Jan 20
5:41 p.m .: Yelling – A male and female were reported yelling at each other in the Conway Foods parking lot in Conway. Deputies were unable to locate the couple.
6:40 p.m .: Bad parking – A customer of the COA restaurant illegally parked his vehicle onMaple Avenue in La Conner. A deputy contacted the owner of the vehicle inside the restaurant, and he moved it.
Saturday Jan 21
12:34 a.m .: DUI – A vehicle was stopped for erratic driving on La Conner Whitney road; the 34-year-oldBurlington resident was arrested for driving under the influence.
3:48 p.m .: Domestic assault – A 54-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault, also for assaulting a law enforcement officer onCaledonia Street in La Conner.
3:56 p.m .: Oops ! – An elderly woman called to report that her vehicle was stolen fromFirst Street in La Conner. She called back later to report that she found it parked in a different location.
Sunday Jan 22
3:09 a.m .: Early classes? – Teenagers in the area of the La Conner High School set off the school alarm by opening an unlocked door. No sign of forced entry.
4:11 a.m .: Prowlers – A 39-year-oldBellingham man and a 46-year-oldSeattle woman were found prowling around a private barn inConway and arrested for trespassing.
