11:51 a.m.: Auto fail– Crisis was averted after a 51-year-oldMount Vernon woman’s car broke down on Morris Street, La Conner. Her battery was dead, but she got a jump start and was able to continue on.
4:42 p.m.: Animal love – A caller requested that deputies check on her aunt on Maple Ave., La Conner because she had many animals living with her and the caller felt that was unhealthy. Deputies checked and the aunt was fine.
Wednesday Feb 15
8:28 a.m.: Causing a scene – After a 39-year-old man had a public meltdown about a malfunctioning gas pump at the Shell Station onLa Conner Whitney Road north of La Conner, the clerk requested that he be removed. When deputies arrived the man had already left.
4:13 p.m.: Stunt driver – A naughty driver doing “doughnuts” in theConway boat launch’s parking lot onDike Road sped off before deputies arrived.
Thursday Feb 16
3:20 p.m.: Unruly parent – The La Conner Middle School requested information from deputies about a parent who was harassing employees.
4:46 p.m.: Hit and run – TheWashington State patrol responded to a hit and run car crash on northbound I-5 at Conway Hill.
Friday Feb 17
3:32 p.m.: Reported – A trespassing was reported at a house onFir Island Road,Conway.
