Halleluiah!
Neil Gorsuch was sworn into Supreme Court Judgeship, to replace the late Anthony Scalia.
Election 2016 was about the “rule of law” prevailing over the “rule of man:” Many voted for Trump solely on the hope that Trump would nominate a “Constitutionalist.”
Evangelist Franklin Graham was significant in the non-partisan ecumenical vote, voting, and determining the outcome: We’re better for it.
The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, coupled with Anglo-Saxon “natural law,” the Declaration of Independence, and the Articles of Confederation. All public-elected officials, and public employees swear an oath to uphold it.
Neil Gorsuch appreciates “words have meaning,” and that the U.S. Constitution provides for representative government, with the three branches of government, Executive, Legislative and Judicial, as equal and separate branches, with the Supreme Court only supreme over the other courts: That’s known as “Separation of Powers”.
In Election 2016, there was a bumper sticker that read: “Pray, Vote, Pray.”
We need be thankful Donald Trump was elected President, singularly, for nominating Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
We, also, need continue to pray.
Happy Easter.
