Flowers & ice cream

I’m excited that the flower baskets will be hung along First and Morris Streets this week. Quietly reminding everyone that yes, spring is here and summer is on the way!

I want to thank the many businesses and individuals that have sponsored baskets and purchased their own personal basket. The Chamber wants to keep this tradition alive but it comes at a cost. To help offset our expenses we are hosting an Ice Cream Social, Dessert Auction and Silent Auction. Living the “SWEET” Life will take place at Maple Hall, June 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

For just $5 you get a bowl of ice cream, we will have plenty of additions at the toppings bar, DJ Heidi will be providing us with music and Anna at La Conner Sips will be pouring some delicious dessert wines. There will be a lot of yummy desserts to bid on as well as gift certificates and other silent auction items. What a fun family & Community event!
