Food Drive thanks

Many thanks to all of you who took part in the post office food drive.

By the endeavors of La Conner’s post office, and the generous spirit of the extended La Conner community on the post office mail route, the mail carriers collected 822 lbs. of cans and dry goods.

Lately, La Conner Sunrise Food Bank has been feeding 243 big and small people each week. Every week 2,856 lbs. of various foods and produce goes out to our families. That is why annual food drives, like the post office’s Stamp Out Hunger, is so critical. Our families appreciate every can.
