Monday May 15

11:06 p.m.: Team work – Mount Vernon Police requested backup for a case on Fourth Street, La Conner.

Tuesday May 16

11:44 a.m.: Truck vs. fence – A truck hit a fence on Tillinghast Drive, La Conner.

Wednesday May 17

5:19 a.m.: False alarm – An alarm at the Olive Shop on First Street, La Conner turned out to be a false alarm.

9:19 a.m.: Bad parking – Deputies were contacted after a vehicle blocked a driveway on La Conner Whitney Road.

12:14 p.m.: Tasty chicken – A dog was roaming loose and got into someone’s yard on Fir Island Road, Conway. The husky killed several of the property owner’s chickens, and the Sheriff’s Office animal control caught the canine. The “bad dog” was returned to its owner, who lived several miles away.

6:21 p.m.: Unhappy campers – A caller from the La Conner Marina on N. Second Street wanted to camp in a tent at the RV park. The park management told them they were not allowed to tent camp in an RV camp. The caller felt management couldn’t stop them from tent camping.

Thursday May 18

3:48 p.m.: Checkup – A caller asked deputies to check on a resident of Park Street, La Conner.

Friday May 19

8:00 a.m.: Loud tunes – Someone complained about loud music coming from a home Caledonia Street, La Conner after there was a report of loud music being played. The resident was asked to turn down the music.

12:29 p.m.: Fender bender – Deputies responded to a two-vehicle car accident in the Pioneer Market’s parking lot in La Conner. There were no injuries.

4:29 p.m.: Burglar busted – A caller reported a burglary in progress at 900 block Maple Ave., La Conner. A man was seen crawling through the window of an apartment. Deputies caught the man inside the apartment and arrested him.

9:46 p.m.: Search – Burlington Police requested that deputies check a residence on Channel Drive, La Conner for a vehicle they were seeking.

Saturday May 20

12:04 a.m.: Tavern trouble – A woman refused to leave a tavern on First Street in La Conner. She was gone when deputies arrived.

11:21 p.m.: Wedding Fight – Several men got into a brawl during a wedding reception at Maple Hall in La Conner. Deputies called for medial help for those injured.

Sunday May 21

11:10 a.m.: Car damage – The fight at Maple Hall the prior day left a car damaged on First Street, La Conner.

Monday May 22

8:36 a.m.: Legal advice – A caller from Tillinghast Drive, La Conner wanted to know about landlord tenant laws.

9:20 a.m.: Loud toons again – Another complaint about music playing at a home on Caledonia Street, La Conner. Deputies again asked for the music to be turned down.
