Fun volunteer opening

The La Conner Visitor Center is the first stop for many of our town’s guests. The VIC provides resources not only on La Conner Chamber of Commerce members, but all businesses in La Conner and our surrounding communities.

Our volunteers answer ques-tions, provide directions, make recommendations and welcome everyone with a friendly smile.

Each summer we expand the hours of our visitor center therefore requiring additional help. This year has been especially tough and we have several shifts open.

You don’t need to have lived here a lifetime to be a great resource for our visitors. Summer shifts are just 3 hours long and we would appreciate if you could work once a week or once a month.

This is a great way to give back and make some new friends at the same time.
