Monday May 29

5:05 p.m.: Fender bender – Vehicles hooked it up in front of Pioneer Market in La Conner. No injuries.

6:59 p.m.: Checkout time – A homeowner on S. 4th Street, La Conner asked for help removing overnight guests who had overstayed their welcome.

10:08 p.m.: Spooked kitty – A white tailless tabby cat took off from a house on N. 3rd Street in La Conner after being frightened by loud noises.

Wednesday May 31

4:01 p.m.: Bridge cracks – There was a report of support structures under Rainbow Bridge in La Conner having cracks. Deputies checked them out, and the cracks appeared old. County engineers were notified.

8:06 p.m.: Family feud – An argument between a father and his adult son on Caledonia Street in La Conner.

Thursday June 1

11:01 a.m.: Smashed boxes – Someone broke the glass out of two Post Office boxes overnight at La Conner Post office.

9:03 p.m.: Vindictive – A La Conner man reported that his ex may be posting negative things about him on a dating website.

Friday June 2

9:16 a.m.: Double hit – A woman drove a car into the front of the thrift shop for La Conner Library, smashing the donation box. And then she hit it again. Deputies gave her a ride to jail for driving under the influence.

2:02 p.m.: Forgery – Somebody tried to get a fraudulent prescription filled at La Conner Drug Store.

3:21 p.m.: Motor gone – An outboard motor was reported stolen from vessel at La Conner Marina sometime between January and May.

Saturday June 3

1:02 p.m.: Shopping challenged – A person purchased items at a store on 1st Street in La Conner and lost the shopping bag somewhere between the store and their car.

2:03 p.m.: Parking challenged – A car parked facing south in the northbound lane on 2nd Street in La Conner got a ticket for blocking the whole darn lane.

3:22 p.m.: Unruly pets – A dog was attacked by another dog near La Conner Retirement Inn. Code enforcement was notified.

Sunday June 4

11:27 a.m.: Arrest – Deputies spotted a man with an outstanding arrest warrant walking on Morris Street in La Conner. He was “processed” for the warrant.

8:15 p.m.: Fuel challenged – A man was standing outside his vehicle with a “need gas” sign near the roundabout in Conway.
