Monday June 12

12:41 p.m .: Wallet MIA – Someone stole a wallet out of a vehicle parked at the La Conner High School, the windows were left down on the car. No suspect.

1:57 p.m .: Oops! – A Misdial at the La Conner Retirement Inn. A resident meant to dial 112.

6:40 p.m .: False Alarm – False alarm at the La Conner High School.

Tuesday June 13

10:50 a.m .: Cigarette Ban-dit – The 76 Station in Conway lost $170 worth of merchandise, after a customer tried to pay for his 2 cartons of cigarettes, and miscellaneous foods. His card was declined, and he grabbed everything on the counter and ran out of the gas station. The Sheriff’s office was able to identify the man from the stores security footage, and charges have been sent to the prosecutor’s office.

11:29 a.m .: Fraud – A woman at the Harbor Villa Apartments in La Conner, clicked on a pop up ad on her computer, and agreed to pay a company $880 to do maintenance on her computer. She requested a refund but was denied the refund. Law enforcement directed her to the Federal Trade Commission.

2:18 p.m .: Check in – A concerned parent asked for a check up on his son, where he thought he lived on Morris Street in La Conner. Deputies confirmed with the father that the son was in another county, he was referred to that county for further details.

2:23 p.m .: Struck Mirror – A parked vehicle near Anelia’s Kitchen in La Conner, had its mirror struck by another vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was able to get the mirror back on. All is fine.

11:36 p.m .: Ex Boyfriend – A man violated a protection order and assaulted his ex-girlfriend at the Swinomish Gun Club on Hwy. 20. Deputies searched for the ex-boyfriend who had fled the scene and were unable to locate the man, even after bringing K-9 units out.

Wednesday June 14

8:44 a.m .: Morning madness – An ex-wife called to report she was following her ex-husband as he drove from La Conner to Conway because he might be intoxicated. Turns out the ex-hubby had a restraining order protecting him from the ex-wife. Deputies contacted the man, and determined that he was not drunk. Wifey was arrested for violating the court order to keep away from him.

10:04 a.m .: False robbery – False robbery alarm at a La Conner tavern.

Thursday June 15

8:50 a.m .: Too fast, too early – Report of speeding trucks on Morris Street in La Conner.

Friday June 16

3:53 a.m .: Strange – A report of strange noises on Conner Way in La Conner. Deputies and Swinomish Police were unable to locate or witness any strange noises once they arrived.

3:58 p.m .: Oh brother! – Someone called to report two brothers “Fist Fighting” in front of their home on 3rd Street in La Conner. Turns out, one brother sprayed the other brother with water while washing a car.

Saturday June 17

2:09 a.m .: Fight – A fight at a La Conner tavern. Both combatants were intoxicated, charges were filed.

2:07 p.m .: Drugs – A report that someone locked themselves in the laundry room to use drugs, 900 Block on Maple Ave., La Conner. Deputies contacted the person in the laundry room, who denied any drug use. Also deputies were unable to locate any paraphernalia.
