Art is now Alive! in La Conner

If you want to volunteer with the Art’s Alive! show, it is getting installed in Maple Hall Thursday, Nov. 2. The 33rd annual Art’s Alive! opens Friday with the artists reception, 5-9 p.m. in Maple Hall.

Wander through the invitational show, open show and merchant exhibits. Saturday and Sunday. Artists demonstrations and live music will continue at Maple Hall.

The Skagit artists juried art show is at the La Conner Civic Garden Club. Northwest artists are featured at 21 La Conner merchants and galleries, including photographer Nancy Crowell at the Weekly News office on Third Street. Find their hours in the brochure.

Media range from paper, through glass, sculpture and painting.

Refuel at “Chowder by the Channel” at the La Conner middle school gym, 3-6 p.m. Saturday.
