Thanks for making July 4th great!

Thanks to all of you who entered this year’s parade. Without you the parade would have been much shorter and a lot less fun.

Thank you, Town of LaConner and Port of LaConner; without you this parade would not have happened. Thank you, Swinomish Veterans and Boy Scouts for providing our Color Guards and leading the parade. Thank you to the LaConner Fire Department for manning the traffic barriers and bringing your trucks. Thank you, Fire District 13 for your participation. A special thanks to David Alvord, driver of the antique fire truck. Thank you to Jayson Williams and Miki Rose for your help with the line up and sign up and keeping the pace.

Thank you to the La Conner Weekly News for the encouraging coverage nudging people to participate.

And thanks to all of you who came to share a few minutes of fun on a 4th of July afternoon. Your enthusiasm was wonderful to behold and greatly appreciated.
